Case Study: Ukraine

Link copied to clipboard.
On February 24, 2022, the world witnessed the largest migration since World War II. We were on the ground in 48 hours—securing borders, protecting women and children from organized crime and human trafficking, deploying technology, generators, humanitarian and medical aid. We deployed tactical teams. We prevented kidnappings. We froze criminal assets funneling trafficking proceeds to war funding. This is what rapid response means. This is what approximately 1.4 million lives protected looks like. — Jax Harrison, Founder and CEO

The Crisis

Conflict creates windows of vulnerability that traffickers exploit. Mass displacement means millions at risk. We deployed with the resources needed for rapid response operations.

We were on the ground within 48 hours alongside World Central Kitchen and Red Cross ambulance teams.

The Team

Mission tactical teams with surgical precision. Ex-Military Special Forces, Military Intelligence, and Police personnel. Anti-trafficking experts, technologists, cyber intelligence specialists, blockchain and anti-money laundering investigators.

Operations Executed

  • Secure warehouse: Non-lethal supplies warehouse established and monitored
  • Power infrastructure: Generators and power systems deployed
  • Transportation hub: Large screens and coordination center for safe passage operations
  • Technology deployment: Security and military technology at borders for protection and prevention. iPads provided to border patrol and boy scouts for coordination
  • Border operations: Safe secure passage coordination at crossing points, working with border agents
  • Alert system deployed: Mobile warnings to all phones in specified areas when traffickers and organized crime present at Medyka border
  • Physical protection: Guarded women and children, housed them in churches and schools to protect from organized crime until safe legal passage was obtained for them to countries like the UK
  • Prevented kidnappings: Physical intervention and overnight security
  • Cyber operations: Froze global assets of NFT scammers funneling trafficking proceeds to war funding. First warrant served via NFT to freeze assets. Identified criminal accounts and money flows
  • Policy engagement: UK Parliamentary Committee briefing, House of Commons presentations, Ukraine Ombudswoman coordination and advice, EU Policy Commissioner consultation on human trafficking

Proven Impact

Approximately 1.4 million lives protected

Safe zones established. Transit corridors secured. Trafficking prevention systems operational. Money flows disrupted.

What Ukraine Proved

  • Technology amplifies impact at scale
  • Complete protection matters: End-to-end solutions from extraction through legal passage
  • Experience creates speed: Tactical expertise enables immediate action
  • Innovation prevents harm: New approaches stop threats before they materialize

From Ukraine to Global Operations

Ukraine validated our rapid response model. That operational experience now informs current missions worldwide:

  • Afghanistan: 400+ daily extractions
  • Haiti: 80 families to USA, 23 women and children to London with legal visas
  • Current focus: High Value Asset extractions in multiple hot zones

Knowledge and experience create life-saving speed.
